OPERATIONS MANUAL
CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EVERYONE'S JOB What is customer service for a yoga student?
It means being seen. Recognized by name. Being taught a class that is appropriate for their level. Receiving personal feedback. Being invited to ask questions. And getting direction on how to best move forward in their practice. Customer Service is part of your job as a teacher. Help your students to progress. Learn about your students' needs then point them in the right direction. Students want to know: how often should I attend class? Which classes are best for me? What payment option should I sign up for? Does this get any easier??? Help your students save money. Know our pricing strategy so you can direct your students to the right program to meet their needs while saving them the most money. We have a simple path for new students to traverse as their commitment progresses: New Student Special > 50% OFF Membership > Full Member. We have three tiers of membership to suit our students' individual needs. We have class series available, but they are more expensive than membership. Class series never expire. New Students need extra attention. Students new to yoga offer a rare chance for you to help someone take a positive turn in their life. They also are great opportunities to build your following. So, we take extra time and care with our first-timers. Part of the Onboarding process includes a 30 minute training with our Studio Director on how to bring new students into the fold. Scholarships and Free Classes. We don’t want money to stand between our students and their well-being if we can help it. In an effort to make yoga more accessible, we extend partial- or full- scholarships for memberships based on need. If you have a student in need of financial assistance, ask them to email us. |
