INSPIRATION  SERIES

pictured: Mahea Uchiyama
You dance inside my chest,
where no one sees you,
but sometimes I do,
and that sight becomes this  art."

Arts inspire.
They can also open us to a more subtle awareness of ourselves.
Throughout its history yoga has employed the arts
as a means to contact our most subtle self.

The sublime catches our breath.  Coming from the latin root inspirare, to "breathe in spirit"  inspiration makes us gasp. The arts both prompt us to take in and savor breath/spirit.  Mountain Yoga is committed to keeping you inspired thru yoga,  the arts,  inspirational travel, our yoga of writing series,  the sharing of poetry and literature, and our inspiration series events (see below.)

Inspiration is a spiritual experience.
The Inspiration Series is devoted to programs that spotlight the arts' capacity  to transform us, like  yoga. Prominent musicians, dancers, visual artists and authors share their passion and creativity with the Mountain Yoga community in workshops and intimate evenings of performance and discussion.  A little bit of talk, a little performance, a little interaction... a lot of love.
