"The embodied spiritual practice of turning rooted in Sufi ritual and movement creates connection to the rotation of the earth and the still center of the heart. " ~ Miriam Peretz |
Miriam Peretz is an internationally-acclaimed performing artist specializing in dance from the Silk Road and Middle East and creator of Nava Dance, a holistic movement practice rooted in ritual and inspired by circles, spirals and cycles to awaken the highest potential of self.
A healing art, the focus of Nava is the embodiment of prayers and intentions — like humility, compassion, and generosity — through movement. Her monthly outdoor Dance Sanctuaries are performed with live musical accompaniment and the sounds of the wind, birds, trees and waters. |
