> HEAR PARVATHY SING
Parvathy Baul has performed in over 40 countries to international acclaim, sharing the tradition of India’s musical mystics, the Bauls.  Now, Parvathy comes to Mountain Yoga direct from her home in Bengal to teach this love-generating yoga to us.

Called "The Honey Gatherers," Bauls travel from place to place gathering spiritual attainment thru practices of love. The Baul practice  centers on unique devotional songs, dances and storytelling designed to generate deep personal experiences of universal love in pursuit of spiritual freedom.

Parvathy, a modern Baul and one of its few female practitioners, shares the sweet taste of the Baul’s “honey gathering” in this exceptional weekend of rare and valuable teachings.  Together we will spend a joyful weekend lightening the heart thru sublime Baul poetry and song.  Dance to newly learned Baul rhythms.  Hear ancient Baul tales that hold lasting life lessons.

You, too, can gather the honey.

"Make your life into a prayer." — Sanatan Das Baul

THE POWER OF BHAKTI

Bhakti, or devotion, is at the heart of Baul practice.  Bhakti can open the heart, freeing the modern mind from habitual egoism and compulsive thinking.  Sing songs, hear stories and learn lessons to bring the power of bhakti alive in your life.
