Think of it as a booster shot for your home meditation practice. This once a month check-in with MYoga meditation teacher Mary Wade will help keep your meditation practice inspired and on track. Discover meditation and mindfulness for the first time or go deeper with your current practice. Preparatory work employing yin and restorative yoga postures and breathwork will be given to help sustain us in meditation. Quieting the mind and easing the heart, these practices help us live more peacefully and respond gracefully to changes and challenges.
Mary Wade offers simple practices from the mindfulness meditation and yogic wisdom traditions to help people restore the natural heart-mind ease, balance and joy that may become depleted during our busy, high-stimulus workday lives. Mary has taught Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (founded by Jon Kabat-Zinn, PhD) at Commonweal retreats for health professionals and integrated health centers since 1997. She is currently pursuing advanced study of asana, meditation, pranayama, insight dialogue and yogic and Buddhist philosophies with Sarah Powers, Patricia Sullivan and other faculty of the Insight Yoga Institute.
