The Life Skills Series is a new, three-part series designed to re-awaken this authentic bodily awareness to strengthen your coping skills and enjoy more presence in life. Through discussion, movement, meditation and simple exercises, we will learn how to shift our habitual energetic ways of being and reap the rewards.
Healthy Boundaries
In the first of the LIfe Skills offerings we will learn the many ways boundary issues come up in everyday life, and when left unchecked, can lead to exhaustion, overextension and even violation. rough the cultivation of healthy boundaries we learn how to choose who to invite in and what to keep, gaining greater ease in our bodies, security in our personal space, and control of our resources. Take home simple, practical ways to employ healthy boundaries that still allow us generosity of heart and the ability to connect with others others.
Creating Stability
Modern life is de-stabilizing. The breakneck pace and transitory nature of our jobs, homes and relationships can result in insecurity, anxiety and insomnia. In this workshop, the second of the Life Skills Series, we learn how to increase the experience of stability in our modern lives, through practices that deepen our connection to our physical, cognitive, and psychological core. From this clarifying stance, we can then relate to our lives and the people in it from a sense of inner truth and self-worth, bringing greater effectiveness and happiness.
