Ann Dyer has explored yogic sound for over 30 years as a teacher, student and professional vocalist. She is Director of the Vak Choir which premiered at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco fall 2013 and was commissioned by the Asian Art Museum of SF to create a piece to be performed in conjunction with the Smithsonian exhibition "Yoga: the Art of Transformation" this spring. Dyer’s teaching illustrates how the ancient practices of mantra, kirtan, raga and naada yoga can be skillfully used to benefit our contemporary lives. Ann is director of Mountain Yoga.
