​40% of Americans experience sciatica at some point in their lives. Caused by irritation of the sciatic nerve, sciatic pain can be a dull or searing pain deep in the buttock, in the low back, around the rim of the pelvis and/or down the back of the leg. Sciatica often increases with age, and can be exacerbated by long periods of sitting, making it increasingly common in younger adults as well. Most times it's simple to address through yoga, if you're following the appropriate movement prescription.

"Dowager's hump" is anold-fashioned reference to kyphosis, an increased curvature of the upper spine. Long associated with aging in  women, kyphosis is now occurring in young people of all genders due to prolonged use of phones and screens.  Most common cases of kyphosis can be mitigated through a simple yoga formula anyone can do. Benefits can be quick and dramatic, and include relief of neck and shoulder pain, reduction of falls, ease of breath and increased confidence. The longer you wait, the worse it gets, so let's get started!
