LIVING WITH ESTRANGEMENT
A Better Way Forward with Kathy Sinsheimer + Ann Dyer Cervantes SAT, AUGUST 1 2-5PM In-person or via Zoom $70 early reg • $85 week of From the voice behind the popular Substack Dear Estranged, this workshop offers a compassionate space to navigate the reality of estrangement—when contact with a loved one is little or none. Kathy Sinsheimer brings clarity and care to this often unspoken experience, providing insights to support all involved. We begin by focusing on you—your feelings, questions, and hopes—creating space to step out of the relationship for a moment. From there, we explore the dynamics of estrangement: how it lives in relationships, and in the body. Through reflection, conversation, and gentle yoga led by Ann, you’ll begin to soften the “closed spaces” where disconnection can take hold. We then gently turn toward the relationship itself, opening to new perspectives and possibilities. You’ll leave with greater tools, understanding, and openness for a steadier, more compassionate way of holding what is. Whether recent or long-standing, you are not alone. Kathy Sinsheimer, MFT is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and author of the Substack Dear Estranged. She specializes in helping people navigate the complexity of family rifts and relationship loss with a direct, compassionate approach. Ann Dyer Cervantes is the director of Mountain Yoga, yoga educator and somatics practitioner. |
