Become the teacher
you aspire to be.
"A mentor is more than a teacher or a coach. A mentor takes you under their wing. It is a close, personal relationship, a commitment that goes beyond the classroom."  ~ ann dyer cervantes

Teacher training was great!  But what to do with all the questions and challenges that continue to come once you start teaching?  To be a good teacher can take time.  It can be easy to lose direction and confidence.  Even those who have taught for years sometimes need a fresh perspective and a little support.

The most compelling teachers  are themselves.  They bring all of their  personal knowledge, experience and interests  to their teaching.  Ann's mentoring style  helps us to find our unique teaching voice. Great with children? Former dancer? Retired therapist? Good at business?  All these experiences and traits can inform who you are and where you want to go as a teacher.

In this mentorship you will spend five-months and 40 hours receiving one-on-one personal guidance from Ann including customized assignments, research recommendations, practice suggestions and personal advice on real life challenges you are currently experiencing in the classroom.   There will be three class evaluations, and a chance to revise and review your class again after receiving feedback.  Ann's Open Door Policy allows you to write or call with any questions that may come up between sessions.
