 Where are you located?
Currently most of our classes are online, being presented over Zoom.  We have several weekly  In Person classes at Bliss Fitness.  We also offer occasional  Outdoor Classes on the Montclair Garage Roof, as whether permits.

What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing that you can move in. Sweats, leggings, shorts are all fine.

How early should I arrive?
Whether in person or online, it is a good idea to get to class 10-15 minutes before class start time.  Introduce yourself to the teacher, and let them know what has brought you to yoga.  Share any issues that might be helpful for them to know, like if you are recovering from surgery or have an achy lower back.

What should I bring?
Make sure you have 4 things: a mat, a blanket, a strap and a block.  Purchase online,  or improvise with things you have at home.

How often should I do yoga?
Twice a week is a good start. but the more the better!

What if I have an injury or am just getting over an illness?
Inform your teacher before class of any injury or illness you may be recuperating from. Our teachers will help guide you to keep you safe, offering you modifications to accommodate an injury, or suggest alternative restful poses if you have been ill.  If you are still in pain or not feeling well, ease out of your pose, rest and let your teacher know what's going on.  While our teachers will do everything to support a safe, healing experience, ultimately you are the best judge of whether the practice is helping or harming.
