yoga for sleep

"It sounds like rubbish, but I tell you, within minutes I was out like a light."
                                                                        --International Herald Tribune
Sleep effects our health, productivity, and ability to be intimate. Ann Dyer, dubbed the "near-perfect sleep guru" by Yoga Journal Magazine with the release of her 2005 DVD ZYoga: the Yoga for Sleep Ritual, teaches yoga as a drug-free solution for insomnia to people across the country.

Whether you have trouble falling asleep or staying asleep, there is help.  Ann's teachings are rooted in the energetic principles of hatha yoga and ayurveda, and include educating students on the root causes of insomnia from an energetic perspective, the effect of daily lifestyle choices on sleep, and instruction in asanas, pranayama, chant and meditations to help induce sleep.

Ann has taught Yoga For Sleep at the Omega Center, Kripalu Center, and Yoga Journal Conferences, and the Instituto de Yoga in Mexico City.   Please email your request to book a Yoga for Sleep workshop for your establishment.

Please see our Yoga for Sleep workshop page for upcoming workshops and retreats.
