In autumn we gather.
We gather the harvest. We gather around the Thanksgiving table. We gather with friends and family.
And for many of us, autumn is the season of life we are living now, a time of life the yogis say is for gathering and savoring the fruits of all our efforts. They call this time the Forest Dweller years — a time to step back from some of the demands of earlier life and make room for what matters to us personally
Let's gather together to celebrate the beauty of both kinds of autumn at the San Francisco Zen Center's Green Gulch, a place that naturally invites us to settle in, breathe deeply, and savor the deep, rich pleasures of autumn.
Our day begins with a long, luxurious, grounding yoga practice led by Ann. Whether you're newer to yoga or have practiced for years, you'll be encouraged to work at your own level while continuing to explore, enjoy, and expand your practice.
Class will be followed by a visit to Green Gulch's organic gardens and a delicious farm-to-table lunch. There will be time for walking to the beach, visiting with friends, writing in your journal, or taking a hike before returning to the yoga studio for a quiet afternoon of breathwork, meditation, and reflection.
Come gather with us. Come savor the season
