Yes! Yoga will make your body more flexible and comfortable to be in!
How often should I do yoga?
Twice a week is a good start.
How do I sign up for my first class?
What is the right class for me?
We have classes to suit every body. Take a look at our Class Schedule. Need help deciding? Reach out through the green Chat Box and we’ll help you find just the right class to meet your personal needs.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing that you can move in. Sweats, leggings, shorts are all fine.
How early should I arrive?
Classes open 15 minutes before start time. Whether in person or online, it is a good idea to get to class 5 minutes before class start time, 10 minutes if it's your first time.
If you're new, introduce yourself to the teacher, share anything that might be helpful for them to know, like if you are recovering from surgery or an illness, and have a few minutes to get settled on your mat. What should I bring?
If you are attending in-studio, we recommend you bring a mat, however mats are provided free of charge should you need one. If you are attending via zoom, we recommend your having four things for class: a mat, a blanket, a strap and a block. Purchase online, or improvise with things you have at home.

If you're new to the studio our New Student Special, 2 weeks of unlimited classes for $49 — is our best bargain.
If you have been coming to the studio, you have the choice of membership, class packs, or single classes Membership is your best value. It entitles you to a certain number of classes each month for one monthly auto pay. If you go over your monthly allotment you can purchase "add on" classes. We offer 4, 8, 12, and 16 class monthly memberships. Class packs give you optimal flexibility. They are pre-purchased sets of classes (5 or 10) that you can use any time prior to the 3 month expiration date. Single classes are also available. Need some advice? We strongly recommend membership, as it is the most economical and incentivizing payment option. As a member you will be auto-charged each month for a certain number of classes. You can choose between memberships for 4, 8, 12, or 16 classes per month. If you find yourself needing more classes over the course of the month, you can purchase "add-on" classes at a discounted rate. There is no minimum contract requirement. You may cancel your membership at any time or suspend your membership for periods you are unable to attend class. How do I suspend my membership?
You can pause your membership for periods you can’t come to class due to illness, surgery or travel. Use the Pause My Membership form. You will receive email confirmation that your suspension is set.
How do I terminate my membership?
You can terminate your membership at any time by filling out a Request to Cancel
How do I update my credit card info?
If you have any trouble, call Sara, our studio manager, at (510) 978-2275 with your new credit card information Do I get charged for not showing up for class?
Yes, a $20 No-Show fee will be automatically charged.
How do I cancel my class reservation?
1) Go to our class webpage,
2) Click on the "My account" tab (on the right above the list of classes) 3) Sign in and go to "schedule" tab 4) Click "cancel" next to the class you can not attend If you need help, use the chat box to ask us to cancel the class for you. How many classes do I left in my membership this month?
You can see your attendance history by going to our class schedule webpage, and under "My Account" (on the right above the list of classes) Click and log in. Once in, there is a tab called "visit history" and another called "purchase history," both should help you understand where you are with your current month's allotted classes.
How do I purchase an “add-on” class?
Once you use your allotted classes per membership month our database will prompt you to buy an add-on class that corresponds to your particular membership level, i.e. if you have a 4 Class Membership you will need to purchase the “Add- on Class 4 Class Membership" to register for class.
If you find you are consistently buying add-on classes, it might be time for you to graduate to the next membership level. How do I change my membership level?
Are you finding you are coming more often than your current membership allows? Or maybe you are consistently not using all the classes you are paying for in your monthly membership. You can adjust your membership level up or down at any time.
Use the green Chat Box button to let us know what level you want to switch to and a start date and we’ll take care of it for you. Can I have a workshop refund?
Workshop, series, and special event registrations are non-refundable. No exceptions.
Can I pay cash?
Since online registration is required, cash payments are not accepted. If you are new to the studio, note we do not have a front desk. You must be registered prior entering the studio.
Can I share my class package or membership?
No. Each student needs to pre-register and pay for class in advance.
